Lousiana’s

Latinola youth work together to develop creative outlets and push for social and policy changes that advance racial and cultural equity and educational reform

Latinola Now, a project of Puentes New Orleans, is a grassroots, multi-racial youth coalition that builds the power and participation of young people working to develop solutions to problems that directly affect them.

The coalition focuses on building youth empowerment through a combination of creative expression and social action.

Latinola youth work together to develop creative outlets and push for social and policy changes that advance racial and cultural equity and educational reform, and that actively strive to undermine xenophobic attitudes and narratives about immigrants.

Puentes New Orleans has been a partner of Foundation for Louisiana, and we’re excited to help them spread the word about this new project.
