At Foundation for Louisiana, the importance of quality, equity-driven leadership remains a cornerstone operating value. As FFL’s work grows and evolves with Louisiana’s people, we’re pleased to announce the latest changes in board and staff leadership that promise to strengthen our mission to invest in people and practices that work to reduce vulnerability and build stronger, more sustainable communities statewide.

Pamela Jenkins, Ph.D., is now serving as our Board Chair, replacing previous board chair and founding director, Linetta J. Gilbert. Noted philanthropy leader and policy advisor Alvertha Penney was elected Board Vice-Chair, and professor of entrepreneurism Mark Quinn was selected to serve as Treasurer/Secretary. In senior leadership, we’re pleased to announce the promotion of Alfredo Cruz to Vice-President for Programs & Special Initiatives.

Over the past several months, we’ve welcomed Lydia Cutrer, Director of the Community Investment Fund; Liz Williams, Coastal Communities Resiliency Program Officer; Ameca A. Reali, New Orleans Program Officer; and Randi Fracassi, Programs Assistant. Also, Tanya Gulliver-Garcia (Manager, Special Initiatives and Evaluation) and David Lee Simmons (Marketing and Development Manager) have been brought onboard to help out on a range of projects.
