FFL's flood-relief fundraising gets national platform with help of Participant Media and Lionsgate
FFL is partnering with Participant Media and Lionsgate as part of a fundraising campaign that will provide a national platform for our flood relief, recovery and resiliency efforts in Louisiana. Participant Media works with the Social Action Network (SAN) to help give groups such as ours a stronger voice in fundraising campaigns.
Through SAN, Participant provides NGOs (at no cost) the ability to amplify their voice on issues by collaborating to create petitions, pledges, messages of support, and donation opportunities via TAP, TakePart’s Take Action Platform. Participant Media often partners with Lionsgate Films on socially relevant works in cinema — including “Deepwater Horizon,” about the 2010 Gulf oil spill, shot in Louisiana and scheduled for a Sept. 30 release in theaters across the nation.
